Medical Nutrition Therapy
The following tools were developed to guide those providing nutrition care to older adults in primary care to detect, treat and prevent malnutrition. Specifically, these tools help dietitians triage patients post screening using SGA and guide the priorities for therapeutic sessions.
To see the tools in action, please see the video recording from the June 10, 2021 Confidence and Competency in Malnutrition Workshop entitled “Malnutrition Screening, Assessment and Treatment 101”, by Lorraine Teasdale and Marg Alfieri, available from the CNS Education Portal.
