Subjective Global Nutritional Assessment (SGNA) Video 2025©
The Canadian Malnutrition Task Force (CMTF) has created a NEW resource for pediatric practitioners! The Subjective Global Nutritional Assessment (SGNA) helps clinicians determine a pediatric patient’s risk of malnutrition and identify those who would benefit from nutrition support (see details here). This video was developed to help clinicians assess the presence and degree of malnutrition in infants, children, and adolescents.
To meet the learning needs of today’s busy practitioners, our video is easy to navigate and has the following content and special features:
- An introduction by Dr. Khursheed Jeejeebhoy
- Up-to-date SGNA techniques and classifications and how to apply these techniques
- A hands-on approach to physical examination
- Section headings, subheadings, and a search function
- Pause, rewind, and forward buttons that allow you to choose what you want to watch
- Notes-script for the narration for every section

- There are options for individual licences (one user), and for bulk licenses (libraries, institutions) to meet a variety of interests and needs
