Caregiver Awareness: The Complex Roles and Needs of Caregivers in Nutrition Care

The Canadian Malnutrition Task Force Primary Care Working Group is holding a Community of Practice session to guide primary care, community, and home care dietitians on “Caregiver Awareness: The Complex Roles and Needs of Caregivers in Nutrition Care”.  Join mentor, Catherine Morley PhD, RD, FDC, Principal, Catherine Morley Dietetics and Professor (retired), Acadia University, NS to

1. Become familiar with the CARE4 framework and how it relates to caregivers’ roles in nutrition care; 
2. Learn how the CARE4 framework relates to caregivers’ own nutrition needs to reduce their nutritional risk;  
3. In breakout sessions, explore use of the CARE4 framework in identifying issues and next steps in nutrition care.
