The Canadian Malnutrition Task Force Primary Care Working Group is holding a Community of Practice session to guide primary care, community, and home care dietitians on “Caregiver Awareness: The Complex Roles and Needs of Caregivers in Nutrition Care”. Join mentor, Catherine Morley PhD, RD, FDC, Principal, Catherine Morley Dietetics and Professor (retired), Acadia University, NS to
- Become familiar with the CARE4 framework and how it relates to caregivers’ roles in nutrition care;
- Learn how the CARE4 framework relates to caregivers’ own nutrition needs to reduce their nutritional risk;
- In breakout sessions, explore use of the CARE4 framework in identifying issues and next steps in nutrition care.
