Nutrition Care in Canadian Hospitals Study

CMTF was initially established to undertake the Nutrition Care in Canadian Hospitals Study. The purpose of the study was to:

1. Investigate the prevalence of nutritional risk and malnutrition in Canadian hospitals
2. Describe the state of nutrition care in Canadian hospitals
3. Uncover the increased negative outcomes, on health and the healthcare system, associated with malnutrition, especially when it is not resolved
