NUQUEST: A risk of bias tool for nutrition studies

This webinar will cover the nutrition-specific bias unique to nutrition studies and the development and evolution of the NUQUEST (NUtrition QUality Evaluation Strengthening Tools) checklists, guidance and worksheets for assessing risk of bias in nutrition studies (randomized controlled trials, cohort studies and case-control studies). It will set the foundation for what will be covered in an upcoming three-part NUQUEST virtual workshop to be hosted by CNS in 2022.

Learning Objectives:

At the end of the webinar, participants will be able to: 

  1. Understand broadly the key risk of bias issues in nutrition studies;
  2. Know the key features of the NUQUEST checklists;
  3. Understand when and how to apply the NUQUEST checklists.
